One Body Sermon Series
This Fall, we will go through the book of 1 Corinthians. Paul, the author of 1 Corinthians gives the illustration of the people of Christ being like a body. Each person represents a part of the body (i.e. a hand, eye, etc). Each part is necessary for the body working together as a whole. No part is more valuable than the other. We, as the body of Christ, need to both appreciate the unique giftedness that God has given us while also working together in unity as one body.
Some of the themes throughout this book include being unified with one another in mind and thought, boasting in Christ rather than in ourselves or others, loving others, and working together with our unique God-given gifts.

This Bible study mirrors the sermon series One Body but goes deeper while also providing more practical applications to your life. Throughout this series, we will be reminded of the importance of sharing the gospel to bring others to Christ. This means becoming like all people for the purpose of others knowing Him.
