Pryme Tymers is an outreach of the church to the senior citizens of the community. The group meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month except for July and August. They provide a program at 11am, either entertainment or informative, and a luncheon at noon.
The cost at the door is $7 per person and reservations are required. Pryme Tymers relies on yearly membership dues and free-will offerings at each meeting to help defray additional costs. Volunteers from the church dutifully serve at the luncheons.
Reservations are required and need to be made no later than the Friday before we meet. Call the church office (708-422-5111) or check your name on the sign-up sheet in the front hallway on the Pryme Tymers bulletin board. (NOTE: Late callers cannot be guaranteed preferred seating.)
Pryme Tymers encourages charitable projects such as collecting non-perishable food items and paper goods for the Salvation Army local food pantry, collections for U.S. military personnel, for hospital and community needs, as well as for the welfare of our members. We appreciate your donations of canned goods for the Salvation Army Food Pantry, greeting cards for the Garden Center, yarn for the Crafty Caring Hands and glasses for the Lions Club. Thank You.
